Randst Magazine Issue #8 is the eight and final downloadable episode for Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Bōken. It seems to have happened after The Adventure of the Unspeakable Story.

In the Old Bailey court, the Sherlock Holmes is put on trial for a mysterious murder. Barok van Zieks says the murder occurred in the middle of the night two days ago. The victim, Madam Rosie, was found on a sofa in Holmes' flat. Ryūnosuke Naruhodō reminds the court that she removed herself from Holmes' residence. Holmes' went to the kitchen for tea and came back to find the room empty. Iris Watson was invited to a meeting of academics that day. Tobias Gregson reveals that the door was lock from the inside. The snow under the window had no marks, so the victim couldn't have gone out that way. Naruhodō couldn't find the victim either, Gregson just returned from a business trip and was on his way to the office when Naruhodō and Holmes ran into him. When they raced back, only their own footprints were there. Naruhodō went straight back to the attic to go to bed, Holmes and Gregson found Madam Rosie collapsed on the sofa and heard her spitefully say, "Curse you, you're the death of me, Sherlock Holmes", before she quietly died. She died due to a strangle crushing her windpipe. Holmes agrees with Gregson's testimony, she invited the annoying, noisy lady that evening. They started to quarrel over a trivial matter and Holmes left to put the kettle on, that's a motive but it's vague since the body disappeared. Van Zieks says Holmes always says that no crime is impossible and he solves all mysteries. Being a great detective, Holmes admits that anything is possible with him! The judge declares the detective guilty and orders him to be sent to prison.
Ryūnosuke Naruhodō urges the judge to wait saying there must be another person responsible. Holmes says he knows what happened that night but Barok van Zieks isn't buying it. The Reaper demands him to tell the court what he knows, he says she went through the window. Naruhodō mentions the second floor and lack of footprints, Holmes suggests that she flew to her real killer and she was put by the killer. Holmes says Tobias Gregson carried the Rosie in his coat pocket and put her body on the sofa. Van Zieks thinks Holmes is being very ridiculous, but Holmes reveals that Madam Rosie is actually a parrot! Holmes says she is Gregson pet and he left him with Holmes when went away, after that argument the parrot missed her owner so she flew to his house. Gregson admits it was an accident, she slammed the door right on the parrot without noticing her. That's when Holmes came saying there was an incident, so he hid Rosie in his coat and got into the carriage. He says it's because of Hart Vortex, he told Gregson to take care of the parrot, he's been living in his office with his doves but they started picking on her. That's why Vortex gave her to Gregson. He framed Holmes so he'd still get pay and vacation. Madam Rosie only said her last words because Gregson insulted Holmes because of the Strand Magazine.
In the Chief Justice's Office, Barok van Zieks has been waiting with Tobias Gregson three hours to give their report on a previous case. Madam Rosie has somehow revived, van Zieks really thought she was human. Hart Vortex arrives, he apologizes for being late. Van Zieks wonders what will come of his connection with Ryūnosuke Naruhodō, he's certain they'll meet again. Gregson notices that the parrot was flying cheerfully with the doves.

- This is the first time we see the main person and still see them facing forward. That person is Barok van Zieks.
