Randolph Miller was the director of the Seselagi Art Museum. He hired Detective Dick Gumshoe as additional help guarding the valuable "Officers" painting against the so-called "Handsome Gentlemen Thieves". His efforts appeared to have been in vain when Max Arden was murdered and the painting stolen. Turns out the painting he had guarded was a fake, and he was Arden's killer.
