An iFly suitcase was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Akbey Hicks.

Prior to the murder, Rhoda Teneiro won a competition to design the suitcases for iFly. However, they were unpopular with the customers. In an effort to make them seem popular, she bought one on every flight she worked. However, by the time of the murder, they had become so unpopular that they were going to be disposed of after the flight. Most of them thus ended up being stored in the cargo hold instead of the in-flight shop.

On March 12, 2019, between 4 AM and 5 AM Central European Time, Cammy Meele killed Akbey Hicks in the cargo hold. After wiping the blood with a piece of Borginian cloth, she stored the body and the cloth she had used in one of the suitcases. However, as she was going up in the elevator to switch it with the one Teneiro had bought, the plane hit a patch of turbulence, spilling Hicks's body and belongings everywhere. She then decided to leave the scene as is, planted Hicks's wallet on an unconscious Miles Edgeworth, and put the suitcase with the cloth inside in the in-flight shop.

Edgeworth woke up and examined the suitcase that had been left in the in-flight shop. Noticing a lack of stoppers, he realized that the suitcase had been placed after the turbulence, and looked inside to find the cloth and a bloodstain. Edgeworth deduced that the killer had moved the body, meaning that the crime had occurred somewhere else.

After the investigation, Teneiro gave Edgeworth one of the suitcases as a gift, thanking him for his help, which Edgeworth graciously took, even if he was not pleased in the least by it. A few hours later, he used the suitcase to deliver $1 million of ransom money to Gatewater Land. When speaking of the suitcase, even Lauren Paups spoke ill of the design, calling it absolutely tasteless. While the investigation was taking place, Ernest Amano would then discreetly find the suitcase, retrieve his money from within, and spend it to buy the haunted house, in order to cover for the crime committed by his son. After calling it disgusting, he returned the now useless suitcase to Edgeworth, who was too shocked at the sudden development in the case to really care about it.

Some time later, Teneiro began to sell the suitcases online, where they surprisingly became a big hit. This attracted the attention of other iFly staff, who offered to have her design their next line of jumbo jets.

Some of the suitcases later appeared in the hidden 51st floor of the Grand Tower.
