The Samurai series is a Global Studios tokusatsu franchise consisting of three television series, a stageshow, and numerous pieces of tied-in merchandise.
The Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo[]

A highly popular show created by Sal Manella, produced by Dee Vasquez, and starring Will Powers as the titular protagonist, the Steel Samurai. Jack Hammer co-starred as the Steel Samurai's archnemesis, the Evil Magistrate. The show was cancelled after Hammer was murdered at the studio, but it has seemingly enjoyed something of a revival in the form of a stageshow.
The Pink Princess: Warrior of Little Olde Tokyo[]

A sequel to The Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo that was created due to its predecessor's cancellation. It too would eventually end and be replaced. The Pink Princess would also return in the stage show, as the Steel Samurai's wife.
The Nickel Samurai[]

Another sequel to The Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo. After the arrest of its star, Matt Engarde, it appears to have been cancelled.

Other series and movies involving samurai have been mentioned, but it is unclear as to whether they are related to the Steel Samurai series or are even (in some cases) made by Global Studios. Examples include:
- Dynamite Samurai - starred Jack Hammer at the height of his popularity.
- Samurai Summer - a film starring Jack Hammer at the height of his popularity. Apparently a typical summer romance story, but one that Maya Fey enjoyed to the point that it is one of her favorite movies. The poster (as seen in the Global Studios Studio Two trailer) is of a samurai on a horse.
- Lie of the Wry Samurai - starred Jack Hammer at the height of his popularity.
- The Lute Samurai - starred Jack Hammer at the height of his popularity.
- The Bearded Commander series - one of Maya's favorite films alongside The Steel Samurai. Starred Jack Hammer at the height of his popularity.
- The Singing Samurai - a musical film starring Jack Hammer. Set in ancient Japan, it is about a samurai who sings his way to fame and fortune.
- Bearded Samurai - starred Jack Hammer.
- Samurai Boogey-Woogey - a wig from the show was present in Will Powers' dressing room during Wright's investigation into the murder of Jack Hammer.
- The Zappy Samurai: Electric Bugaboo - one of the DVDs sent to Wright while recovering in the Hickfield Clinic after being hit by a car.
- Sniffling Samurai - another one of the DVDs in Wright's hospital room.
- Neo Olde Tokyo Traffic Safety: Signal Samurai - A show that teaches road safety to kids, starring the three samurai Signal Blue, Signal Yellow, and Signal Red. Phoenix Wright and Larry Butz watched the show in their childhood, and introduced Miles Edgeworth to it. The three owned keychains of the three protagonists as symbols of their friendship. Wright also wore a shirt in his childhood that featured Signal Blue.
- Powerful Rangers: Rainbow Samurai - a show that aired three years after the end of Signal Samurai, starring seven samurai dressed in rainbow color-coded uniforms. Phoenix Wright watched the show during middle school while his peers grew out of the series.
- A similar show titled The Plumed Punisher: Warrior of Neo Twilight Realm is played in Khura'in. While it claims to be inspired by the legend of Lady Kee'ra of Khura'in, it "borrows" heavily from the The Steel Samurai, with their theme songs being almost identical. Hardcore Steel Samurai fans such as Miles Edgeworth even consider it to be a copy and not original.
