Hayden Maxwell was the victim in a murder that took place at the Gatewater Hotel.
Murder at Gatewater Hotel[]
Maxwell attended a tea sampling event being held at the Gatewater Hotel with her new boyfriend. Although she was enjoying herself, she was completely unaware that an ex-girlfriend of a man she had dumped was there as well. When Maxwell went to the bathroom to fix her make-up, the girl stabbed her in the back with a knife out of revenge. Maxwell instantly died, but thanks to Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, her killer was eventually caught and arrested.
Personality[]
Maxwell was a greedy woman who used her charms to spend all the money that her previous boyfriend had, and then dumped him after she bleed him dry. She showed no remorse for her actions, as she soon found herself a new boyfriend. She was described by her killer as "a true witch and devil".
Name[]
- "Hayden" is a play on the word "hated", which is in reference her killer's hatred of her.
- "Maxwell" is an ironic play on "max well" (i.e., completely healthy), which is in stark contrast to her death.
