Eddie Johnson was an employee of Cyber Project, a company specializing in information technology. His arachnophobia caused him to stumble from a height and he subsequently died from the trauma.

- The names of the two Johnson brothers, Eddie and Brock, may be a reference to the Marvel Comics character Eddie Brock, who is the first and best-known incarnation of the supervillain/anti-hero Venom, and one of Spider-Man's enemies. This would continue the spider-themed naming convention seen in the other characters in Turnabout Gallows.
