A record of a blackout that occurred when the electricity to Cindy Stone's building was out from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. on July 31, 2016, during which time Stone was murdered. It was submitted as evidence by Prosecutor Winston Payne during the trial of Larry Butz for Stone's murder.

Phoenix Wright used the blackout record during Butz's trial to contradict Frank Sahwit's second testimony, when he stated that he had probably heard that it was 1 p.m. at the time he found Stone's body from a television in her apartment. Since there had been no electricity at the time of her death, Wright pointed out, this would be impossible. This inroad allowed Wright to eventually prove that Sahwit was the true culprit behind Stone's murder.
