Ace Attorney Wiki:Things to do
From Ace Attorney Wiki
This is a list of projects that need to be done on Ace Attorney Wiki. If you see another project that needs doing, please add it. If you have accomplished a task, please remove it.

[edit] Orphaned pages
Some of the pages on the wiki have no other articles linking to them. This makes it difficult for people to notice them. They can be found here. Please place links to these pages on other articles.
[edit] Places overhaul
You may have noticed that new templates and modified existing templates are being used on the articles of places, and that categories are being reorganized. The templates are template:location, template:area and template:organization. Templates are also being created for imagemaps. Please note that in the current incarnations of the aforementioned templates, each map template has to have the same name as the area it represents.
Many of the maps are not being imagemapped because the individual "rooms" in the area do not have articles. If editors decide that these "rooms" require articles, then the maps can be imagemapped.
Some points of consideration are whether every "room" warrants its own article, whether the wiki should still have a list of Ace Attorney locations article (as opposed to using imagemaps), and whether to merge the templates or do something else with them. This can be discussed here.
[edit] Article expansion
Lots of pages need to be expanded. See Category:Article stubs and Category:Articles in need of expansion for articles you can expand. In particular, pages need to be updated with information from Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth.
[edit] Cases
Most of the episode articles need to be expanded.
The following articles are significantly done but need to be completed. Completion figures are estimates based on the proportion of chapters accounted for.
- Turnabout Samurai (almost complete!)
- Turnabout Goodbyes (2/3 complete)
- Rise from the Ashes (60% complete)
- Turnabout Trump (50% complete)
- Turnabout Visitor (1/6 complete, i.e. has a full description of the demo but not of the entire case)
The following articles have bits and pieces for each chapter:
The following articles have short synopses but need full descriptions:
The following articles have barely started:

- The Kidnapped Turnabout
- The Departed Turnabout
- The Burning Turnabout
Please see completed articles such as Turnabout Sisters for reference.
[edit] Characters
Many character articles need to be expanded.
Please remember to categorize and use Template:Character. Categories should be written "[[Category:Characters|Last name, first name]]". Characters should be categorized into Characters as well as any other character subcategory that is relevant. Characters should also be categorized into the categories for the games in which they appear.
The following articles are nearly complete:

- Franziska von Karma
- Maggey Byrde

The following articles are partially complete:
The following articles have no biographies or have very little description:
Many other character articles are stubs and can be found here.
Please see completed articles such as Maya Fey for reference.
[edit] Other pages
Some category pages are incomplete, and pages should be categorized into them.
The voice cast article needs to be completed with the French and German voice actors/actress.
[edit] New templates
The new voice cast template should replace the manual tables for greater ease of editing.
[edit] Fun suggestions
Maintenance templates could have images on them. Lots of wikis do this. Template:Cleanup is one good example.
Try putting a quote at the beginning of pages that captures the subject of the article! Manfred von Karma is a good example. To use: {{quote||(put quote here)|(who said it)|(when he/she said it)}}
